Good morning all, little wet this morning, ran through a pretty good light show on the way home. Talking to the utilities guy at work last night, the flood gates for our water treatment system were opening about every half hour last night. Not sure how much we got but had to be a pretty good shot of rain.

I am good for every 7-10 years or so on the Fair. I HATE crowds.

 

No offence Tom, but the last time I stopped by a Recruiter's, I somehow ended up with an M16 in my hands and sore feet...

Good morning Jay.. I hate crowds with a passion myself and have not been to the fair since they tore up one of the first dedicated racetracks in the country there... When they did that - I vowed to not return and am keeping my promise..


On a good note - I just got back from the Jeep Dealer where they had to reflash my PCM on the 2015 Rubicon to enable my rear view camera. It works great!
In case you were probably not aware, Jeep Wranglers never came with Backup cameras, so I figured it all out via web research, wrote an illustrated manual on how to do it along with parts sources. I exchanged that manual for the hour labor to do the programming..

 

Dave it must be a southern thing.

 

Meh.... Not my thing I guess... On a few of those, I was waiting for the truck to stop and a hundred clowns bail out!

 

It must be Cory. They are all over. Interestingly, a lot of girls driving them. Mostly Chevys, too...

 

Yikes! WTF is wrong with people?

 

I am so ready for camping. And I am so ready for them to pave the damm road. Didn't happen today like it was supposed to. Better do it tomorrow because the camper and truck will be in their way Friday.

I don't miss that. Badly as those roads needed it at the old house, that was a pain...

 

The city gave us a permit to park in the street tomorrow night. F'em.

 

Ha ha...things are a bit better now. We've moved on to M4s, which are a bit lighter. Carrying less weight means your feet won't get as sore.
