yup.. sever 50 lb bags of sand... shoveled the wet driveways snow into the bed for even more weight.. could feel the weight when driving around...
and they were tires with good tread..
The type of tire makes a big difference. A summer highway tire is harder compound rubber than a winter tire so it won't grip snow and ice anywhere near as good as a dedicated winter tire
