Good afternoon Vermont and FTE land. We did a couple nights of kind of remote tenting with some of the boy scout troop. New discovery campground on osmore pond. The air mattress leaked so that kind of sucked. And hearing all the different sounds you don't usually hear at night didn't help either. I know what a barred owl sounds like now. There are loons on the pond also. There was something somewhat small that walked near the tent Friday night. I kept the ax next to me at night. LOL.

That must have been a sleepless night protecting the kids.

Good morning Jim. It was crazy weather up here at camp - high winds, torrential downpours. Lightning strikes right behind our site on some trees and some folks had tree branches fall on their RV's and some awnings got torn up. Fire dept came up to assist because of the potential damage - the campground owner is also Johnson fire chief so it was an easy call for help from him. My neighbors and I (seasonals) were running from site to site to help people pull in awnings, especially where folks were not home and their awnings were left out. Storm came in really fast and hard.
All good this morning. Lot's cooler and less humid. Finally going to be more seasonal temps I hope.
Hope you all have a great day.
