Hello to all, I'm a new member here and have just recently purchased a 2011 F150 4x4 super crew XLT she was totaled out and I've just finished her. Unfortunately I've learned it needs the pretensioner replaced in the seat belt for the drivers seat which I am capable of servicing myself but cannot find where to get one. Does anyone here know where they can be had?

Try these people. Ford Dealership Near Me White Bear Lake, MN | AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake
They are very helpful. Or try the salvage yards.

Yes I did try a ford dealer but was told you have to buy the entire belt assembly. However, I see where there are many services out there who will install new ones for you but you have to send it to them and I'd really rather do it myself

I don't know about these trucks, but the one retractor I have seen (on an older car) was impossible to service because the belt was sewn in. I had to buy a new retractor. Very expensive I found out.

Oh, another piece of advice, don't buy some aftermarket sh** from China. This is your life at stake. Spend the money on an OE belt from Ford. Even if Ford buys it from China it still gets oversight by their engineering. Don't buy an aftermarket belt.

Well shoot, I can't even find an aftermarket, not that I would buy one anyway. All I need is the charge tube to replace mine and that would fix my problem much cheaper than going with 260.00 for a new assembly

Yes, that is what a rear shoulder belt cost for my old car. I cut it out of the car to use as strapping during an emergency. If I had known the cost ahead of time I probably would have found a different way.
