F450 Bigger Tires
#3
Because of the commercial truck tires sidewall stiffness that fit on 19.5" wheels, there is no alternate size that is compatible. One option, if you are willing to run aftermarket, American Force will make any other their wheel styles in as direct bolt on. They have to be in 22" size to clear the 450's brake calipers though. They tires you'd run on them would be LT and you would loose a lot of capacity, but it's doable.

American force rims - are they direct bolt on with no modifications??
Also what are LT tires?

If you are looking for a larger width a problem with replacing duals with bigger tires is the space between the tires. These tires are fairly close together already, especially at the bulge on the bottom when truck is loaded. They cannot touch and require adequate ventilation between them to prevent heat build up.

Basically it's an option to bling the truck out at the expense of capability. I think the 19.5 tires look great as it is.
