I just bought the chrome SUPER DUTY letters for the gate of my '01. Unfortunately I don't have the stamped letters but I would like it to look correct. So, would someone run a tape measure across the gate just below the letters and take a pic so I can see exactly where to place the letters? Thanks, Mike

 

I gave it a shot this morning, but I don't think the iPhone camera would have squeezed in a shot focused enough to see the tape clearly. Or maybe it's because I didn't have my glasses on!
At any rate, my tailgate measured 63 3/8" overall width. The left edge of the "S" in Super Duty was at 11 3/8 from the left edge of the tailgate.
