92 f-150 AOD issues
Hey guys,
This is not a post on my glorious 7.3L F350. This is to help out a friend as I am lost when it comes to Tranny issues.
She has a 92 F150 with the 302 and the AOD tranny, as well as about 270k miles. She got the vehicle non running, and has nursed it back to health... mostly. Now her major issue:
When she puts it in drive, there is almost no power to the wheels. You have to give it gas, 2k RPM to get it rolling, but once you are going, it shifts fine and everything. No extra codes being thrown by the OBD1 port. I checked that much.
I'm thinking possible slippage of the Torque Converter? Any advise I can pass along?
