Lock out hub problem

Lock out hub problem
Noob to the forums, forgive me. I got a 1995 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 that lost one of the front manual 4 wheel drive lockout hubs. It became lose when i was driving and it fell off. I cannot find a replacement lockout hub anywhere. I have gone to tons of Junkyards and they don't have my specific lockout hub. I finally went to my local Ford dealer and had some results. Correct me if my info is wrong but the parts clerk said the 1995 3/4 F-250s had a special 6 bolt lockout hub that was discontinued mid year. That makes the situation more tedious. However they said they have a solution. They can order a new lockout hub and redo the entire hub system for $600. The other hub is working fantastic, i do not need to redo the entire hub system. That or they said i could try to find one at a Junkyard, as if i hadn't already tried. I'm going up a creek with little water guys, and I really need this part. If dirt and other things work their way into the hub im screwed. If anyone has info, links, anything to where i can find one of these "special" lockout hubs or can help me in anyway they think they can, please do. I just need the lockout hub switch, not an entire new hub system.

Not buying parts at the dealer will put a lot more water in your creek.
For an odd part like that I'd check eBay. IIRC complete hubs like yours are ~$100/set for used ones on eBay. Junkyard may be better or worse.

There we have it. With a quick search for dana 50 lockout hubs, i found what i was looking for. I was astonished that the dealer told me $600, that almost made me want to blow my top off. This is what i was looking for from the start. Thank you very much, you just saved me LOADS of green.
