I would sell the intake set up separate from the engine. The engine won't do anything to increase the intake's value.
I would pull the heads, see what engine I've got and go from there. At most I would expect to sell the engine for core value, not much more. 352/360s aren't worth much, 390/410s a little more, a standard bore 406/428 could be worth a decent amount and a 427 can be worth serious money.

When I pull the heads will I be looking for ID numbers or need to measure the cylinders to tell the size.

You'll need to measure the bore and stroke to tell what engine you have.
4.00" bore X 3.50" stroke = 352
4.05" bore X 3.50" stroke = 360
4.05" bore X 3.784" stroke = 390
4.130" bore X 3.784" stroke = 406
4.05" bore X3.98" stroke = 410
4.230 bore X 3.784" stroke = 427 (plus cross bolted #2, 3 & 4 main bearing caps)
4.130 bore X 3.98" stroke =428

I believe it's a 406, What would be a fair price for motor and heads without intake.

another way to check if its a 406 would be to see if it has cross bolted mains, not all of the 406s had them but some did irrc.

Do you have the old intake gaskets? Did they match exactly on the block/intake? I have the 406 version
