2010, 6,4 with 245,000 miles surges so bad it's like turning off the key and back on again in a gas engine. All filters new, runs good if you don't crowd it, can't pull my trailer with it. Not showing any codes, at my wits end.

 

I think I suggested in another thread to call MPH Enterprises. Their shop is off the AA Hwy, also known as Route 9 near the Bracken/Pendleton County line. Injectors maybe? Can spit raw fuel out causing surging.

 

There's really several possibilities. I think if it was an injector leaking, the motor would probably be ruined by now. The HPFP, or something as simple as the HPFP sensor. That was the problem on mine over a year ago. I set my Edge Insight CTS to monitor the fuel pressure, and it would fluctuate from 4.9K to 5.6K at idle. Normal idle fuel pressure was 5.1K. It usually didn't give me problems driving, except on occasion, it would surge at a stop sign or red light.
