So it has been at the shop for 4 weeks been talking with them they are stumped. When they finish working on a car they use some of the remaining time to look at the truck. Today I was told the distributor needs to be replaced the bearings are bad in it because when idling the timing is fluctuating. Seems odd bearings on a vertical shaft should not change the timing position the center point yes but not the degrees. Lead Head if you are still out there your opinion on this please.
