Are you running the AC on Max?

That will help lower the cabin temps as it cools the air in the cab more as it is recycled in the cab.

Check the heat blend door to see if it not fully closing the heater air flow off.

On my 89 F250, during the summer I just bypass the heater core and that rids the heat soak from the heater core inside the AC/heat box. Doing that I get ice cubes tossed from the vents!

No, that means you have a hole in the floor.

Sorry but floor boards means the floor to me. If you have holes in the floor there is your heat loss.

Turn the AC off and turn the fan on with the temp selection on cold. Do you feel warm outside air blowing, or is the air hot?

Then you have heat intrusion somewhere else into the cab.

You mentioned you felt hot air near the floor. You should find where it's coming from.

I would get a thermometer and stick it in the vent, I did the same thing, I recharged my system and though it wasn't blowing very cold, after sticking the thermometer in the vent and letting it sit with the AC on for about 15 minutes, it actually went down to 47*F that's pretty cold when the temp outside was a little over 80*F. Remember AC units are made to pull the humidity from the air, they are not made to be an actual refrigerator unit.
