What make rear differential would a 2000 E350 have?

Looking at a van in a junk yard its a 2000 E350, full float axle with rear disc. I was under the impression the Econolines from 1992 and up were Dana rear ends. I found this chart that says Ford, which I believe would be a Sterling. Its axle code 39 which is 3.55 per Oasis just like this chart says. So would this be a Dana or a Sterling? My cousin is looking at it, I'm not there to see it. Thanks.

A photo would be helpful, as the spec sheets have been known to be wrong on some things. See attached, looks like it's a Dana axle.

It's going to be a Dana 60 or 70. 99 was the first year with rear disc brakes. Sterling was on the F series or Excursion.

I found one in an extended van some time back. The wreaking yard said it was a 60, but the numbers indicated it was a Sterling...I couldnt tell by looking. It was a full floater.

Are there 10 bolts or 11 holding the diff cover onto the pumpkin? Here's a handy reference for visual inspection. Differential Identification | West Coast Differentials

I believe a Sterling would have an 8 on 170mm bolt pattern. The vans are all 8 on 165.

He bought it, it turned out to be a full float Dana 60 with rear disc. Thats not what he was looking for but was able to make use of the brakes and I think hes going to return whats left. Thanks for the replies.
