I was concerned about towing so soon when I got the truck. I had always been told to break it in like you plan to use the truck, but this time I asked the service manager about breaking it in. He said all Fords are put on a dyno and all systems run through a few heat cycles and I need not worry about towing so soon or any break in procedures. If I had to tow a huge load, I would have put at least a 1000 miles on the truck, but this truck didn't know it had a trailer behind it.

I wasn't worried about break in, just didn't need to tow.
