I found a 76 F250 Ranger XLT CS 2x4 locally. 2 owner, 390, 373 rear, with factory air and cruise control. The bed, fenders and hood are shot, but the cab is in way better shape than my 78 that I am building(another thread). It still has original paint (except the rattle can front), so I can see no bondo ever. Unfortunately, it sat under a tree for years. My plan is to cut out patch panels from the cab for my 78. Oh yeah, the best part is I got it for $450.

Just a question, but if the cab is in that much better shape, why not swap the cabs?

That was the original plan. Might still be the plan, lol. This cab is better on the top half than mine. Mine is better down low. And, I am not sure how the tranny tunnel, different styles of AC, etc. will work out. Still figuring.
