Ok, I recentry upgraded my 95 F150 ip cluster to one with a tachometer. I actually found a cluster from ano there 95, so there isn't an issue with the charging system. I did this last week, and I also changed all the clusterm lights to LEDS (by the way not just any 194 LEDS will work, but that's another story). When I put it back together, everything worked gage wise, but yesterday when I got in the truck the voltage gage was pegged to the left, and then slowly crept back towards the middle throughout the drive home. I've never seen anything like this. How about you guys?
Finally figured it out. The needle is dragging. Not sure if I want to tear back into it right now, I just replaced the big black bezel with the vents and the two trim pieces attached and don't want to risk any damage to the new parts.
