I occasionally find myself in Glenwood Springs, but I don't see that in my immediate future or I'd offer to look at it.

I saw this truck listed as well and was thinking scam. Also, the way he says call or email with your offer, is weird.
Agreed.

its too risky to buy something like that without physically looking at it. the reality is, it could be a phenomenal deal, a fair deal, or a bad deal....really cant tell which one it is without looking.

I don't think youre finding ccsb anything for much less than that, unless its on its way to the junkyard. If you really want one, might be worth the trip....theyre not easy to find.

always expect to have to work on used vehicles, always inspect the big ticket items to make sure "working on used vehicles" doesnt mean hunting for something like a 7.3 immediately after purchase.

IME, that is a very low price for that truck in this area. I routinely see almost anything with a PSD that isn't beat to death/rusted/400k+ selling close to $10k. Hell, a nice IDI will set you back $5k or more. The prices are really getting out of hand.
So, why so cheap? Maybe the owner figures that without it running he'll just move on from it without spending who knows how much to figure it out. It's a PSD after all, so it could consume the better part of $2k to get it running right again if someone has to take it to a shop and it's more than old fuel and a a couple of filters. Or it could be a scam...
