spec's F150 XL reg cab 1995, 5.0l
Hi Justin,
As much as possible, power, torque, weight, length, etc etc. If possible accompanied with some more photo footage. I have my eye on buying a '95 5.0l F150 XL reg cap. He has some extra's already but the more I know the better.
Greetings and keep breathing,
Pim (sometimes called 'madPim')

Well the engine is a 5.0 302 which puts out about 205 hp and 270 ft-lbs at 3000 and 4000 rpm respectively. I don't know what kind of tranny you have. You didn't mention if it was a short bed or long bed. The XL is the base version, not many options on the truck with this trim level. The axles are an 8.8" in the rear with 31 splines, the front axle is a Dana 44 TTB if you have a 4wd truck there. Pictures can be found in the gallery of this website. Try searching google.com with "95 f-150 specs" or something. The truck weighs about 4500 lbs.

Thanx again,
I haven't bought anything jet but found a very nice looking F150 XL with alloys, nice chrome trim....low milage, short bed but 4x4.
But searching the garages in my country I found a F150 XLT 4x4 with double cap (crew cap I think it is called) and long bed. This one has much more specs and trim....and about the same milage.
This rises an other question....I think milage is around 15-19mpg on normal use (just road). What about reliability on daily use? I drive about 40.000km a year (25.000miles), does the old say; "old Fords run forever" still stand. Searching for reviews, etc I think this quote still stands by the writers of these reviews.
I found this site through google and complete reviews/specification overviews are hard to find. Only on the newer models (>2001) I have no troubles but I'm looking for '96 .. '99. Things like length, width is more an issue in this small country, make me jaleous on the US sometimes......Any tips on things specificly to look at when buying a F150?

ps, I wanted to add a picture of the model I think of buying but creating a gallery for that...hmmmm maybe overdone, any other ways of adding the picture?
