Trailer Saver TSLB2H Air-Ride Hitch - in F450
As soon as I know my 2017 F450 is on the way I want to order a Trailer Saver Air hitch with the PUCK adapter for my truck.
I really want the TSLB2H hitch with the 3rd airbag but am not sure it will give me enough rail height clearance with the trailer.
Does anyone with a F450 or even a F350 have this hitch in their truck and what kind of rail height clearance do you have?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Bigdon......I've got the Hensley TS3 and it's more than enough hitch for my application which is a 35' 5th wheel @ 14,400 gross. The TSLB2H hitch is made specifically for medium duty trucks that really don't have a bed. I think if you go with this hitch then you would probably have to have a custom taller mount made that would fit into the puck structure and then allow the hitch to mount to it in the normal way. That way you could get the head up to the proper height to clear your bed rails. Nothing that can't be done ( just takes $$$$) I'm sure Hensley has had that inquiry before.
I don't know how big of a 5th wheel you plan on towing but the TS3 is rated at 4500 pin and 20k pulling. These hitches are VERY heavy duty, made out of 1/4" plate with the Binkley type head.
The TS3 sitting on the adapter in my truck is 1 5/8" below the bedrails, gives plenty of room depending on how the pin box is installed. We've never had a problem with ours. Before you order I would def. call Hensley and run it by them........good luck.
