8 years ago I took entire body down to bare metal , A friend helped and we block sanded and filled to get the small dents out . Epoxy primer and urethane enamel , It came out with a lot of orange peel and started to blister , This winter I sanded off all paint and primed and painted again with Epoxy primer and urethane enamel , this time I colored sanded and use 3 part compound to polish . This was my first try at color sanding , And I have learned a lot . I have made the inside more practical replacing the wainscoting with painted luan and rubber floor , kick panels and rear door cover . I use it as a truck and the carpet that was in it had become stained and ripped . I did replace the carpet in the cab . now I can was it out when dirty . At truckstock I will keep everyone back 20 feet . Perfect from there .
Hey Dave,
If you look at it just right you can see an optical illusion of a smooth looking pick up.... very cool.
I like everything about it but the Texas A&M maroon color... (sorry local Texas rivalry)..
You had a busy winter. You are way above my skill level.
