Transmission issues?
I have a 91 5.0 with e4od and when i get up to 35 or faster it seems that she is in and out on whatever gear she should be in. What could cause this?

Something is confusing the computer so pull the codes.

Transmission slipping due to worn bands. Though it could be the electronic stuff on it too.

Have you checked your trans fluid?

Interesting conclusion. There is only one band in this transmission, and the only time it is used is when the shift handle is in the 2 position. Any other time it's just along for the ride.

Read the codes.
