Big Orange got some new shoes! 1977 Highboy

Picked these up at the 4wheelparts Jeep and Truck expo. I've been wanting to get rid of those old white steel rims since my dad put them on 20+ years ago.

Wheels: Procomp 1069, 16x10, 4.5" BS
Tires: BFG KO2's, 315/75r16

Those look great.
Like somethingclever said, you can't go wrong with the classic look.

Thanks guys. I was tempted to go with a more modern styled wheel, but it just didn't feel right. Plus, these were on sale for $98/each at the show.

I'll pass on the wheel well trim, but I think a small 2" lift is in order!

Nice shoes and socks, some chrome center caps are maybe in order?

Or go old school and just paint the rear center hub black or orange to match the truck. Same for the outer part of the front hub.

Back in the day we would paint the rear brake drum to match the truck too.

I have the center caps, now. I drove off from the shop and forgot them and didn't realize it until they were already closed. Couldn't wait another day so I put them on anyways.

As far as painting drums and hub, I'll be pulling the axles and suspension in the fall and painting everything gloss black. Not a fan of body color matching.

"Body color matching" is a cheap old school trick, cheap as in I did not really have any money in the 1st place back then, because it all went in the gas tank.
