Congrats Bob
Seems like this has a great ending after all, she looks like a nice upgrade.

Thanks Warren, it isn't as clean as my 2011, but I'll get it there.

I read in a couple other Threads, I read that u were taking the battery, exhaust, etc off your 2011. Have u asked about doing that ?

I'd be surprised if they let ya honestly, ask the body shop of course (they probably don't care) but I would NOT ask the Insurance Co...lol

By "not as clean" u mean the interior wasn't detailed ?
Dealer did my 2013 that way too, had to clean it myself...*******s

EDIT: It won't let me type Bas**rds

I have the ok from the body shop, and my insurance company. Neither care, since the truck is going to go to an auction. I was able to get the battery, floor mats, tool box today. Tomorrow I'm going back out with an electric saws all. I am NOT paying $200-$250 for a cordless saw that I may not use for years.
I'm also snagging the speaker out of the doors. The rear speakers in the truck we bought are toast.
I'm also replacing the Flowmast with the stock exhaust from my 2013 we bought Saturday. I've also replaced the battery from my 79 that still works, it's just due to fail at any given point.
The truck just doesn't look like it's been detailed to me. But I'm also picky. There is a spot in the back seat that is even hard. So it is getting the interior detailed next week. The paint has a few spots that need to touched up. The last truck we bought, needed nothing. It looked near new, but it also had 17K on it, where as this truck has 54K on it.

Back out to the body shop this morning to get my Flowmaster, then I'm finished with my baby.
I was going to take the rear speakers out of the 2011, and put those in the 2013 rear doors. The speakers in the 2013 are shot, or there's an issue with the stereo.
We bought both trucks from Carmax, (we really... like the way they are set up).
With our 30 day 100% warranty, they are taking care of the stereo issues for me, and cost $0.00. So I'll let them have the truck for a day or so and fis the stereo, and do the complete detail too.

Deciding factors

Well here's a few pictures of the deciding factors not to repair that cab. The area that is damaged, are all strength/structure area, like crumple zones of the front end, and cab/passenger compartment that shouldn't be repaired. The manager at the body shop say's it should not, be repaired, due to the integrigity of the cab.

Y'all behave.
