Does the inside of the boots look coated or just integral to the design? I've read where some of the boots delam on the inside and I'm looking to get these same pipes.

Doesn't look like a coating, appears to be all one piece rubber boot

Thanks!
If anyone can post how they are holding, like at oil change intervals would be great.

It'll be interesting to see how they hold up over time once they get some oil on them. Do you still have you Crankcase ventilation hooked up?

Yeah, I'm not the best case for reporting on how they're holding up, I did the CCV reroute a while ago

The verdict is in....I tried to install my new CAC boots and tube last night only to find the cold air side (drivers side) tube was not configured in a shape nor was it the correct length (approx. an 1in too long) to fit my 2007 truck. I've made my first attempt to contact the seller and try and return this kit for a refund....I'll let you all know how this goes.

....if this is how these things are when it comes to the install I think I'll just replace the plastic tube with the OEM, as mine has a small hole chaffed in it.

Can you post a pic of them next to your plastic CAC tube? Mine went in fine, and I also had a plastic cold side CAC tube.

I could have.... but it is all boxed up and ready for UPS tomorrow and the plastic one is back on the truck so I can use it to pull my camper with to a bluegrass festival tomorrow. I double checked it this morning and it was not going to go on no matter what I did, it had to be shorter and straighter to work. I put a temp patch on my plastic pipe....I hope it holds for the trip.

....UPDATE>>> I sent Johnny at JGC Parts (the place I purchased this intercooler kit) a request for a return shipping label and he did me one better than that, he refunded my entire purchase price INCLUDING shipping to my payment method and said no further action was required by me. A real stand up guy AFAIC. But since the kit is of no use to me I'm going to spring for the return shipping anyway.

Allan: would the boots work for you? Then you could just send him the pipe and use the boots...

Bringing back this thread I found another kit on eBay tonight that includes the intake elbow too. I haven't bought it so I have no idea of fitment but am thinking of giving it a shot. Just wanted to share

I see it's also available in other colors like blue and silver (aluminum).

Yeah I saw that too. Everybody has/wants the sinister blue pipes. I'll prob try black or polished. 30 day full money back. Even if the boots are junk, you could grab some from riff raff and still be half the price that most spend on a full set ($500). Seems like a major cash cow product for companies and they all have one.

Yeah $500 for shiney pipes,....... not this guy. Those you found with boots clamps & the elbow.... good deal to me as long as the hoses are noble. I'll watch for your review.
