MPG update
The first tank of gas was put in by the dealer and I didn't think about adding into Fuelly at the time. But the second tank I bought and entered into Fuelly..
And it got 9.6 mpg, according to Fuelly, 9.4 according to the dash.
Also, dealer installed the receiver hitch for free, so it's good to go now.

Hell, I'm only turning about 2100 rpm at 70 mph with 4.30s and the stock 31.5" tires. My old Chevy 2500 had a 4L80 and 4.10s, which was about 2500 rpm at 70 mph, and it really wasn't that bad. Gave it some passing power in overdrive, which this F350 has no power in 6th gear. I usually just lock out 6th unless I'm going 60+ mph for a while.

I get so tired of explaining that same thing about the srw 250/350 6.2's. I agree the 6.2 really needs a lower gear offering from the factory. These newer NA V8 overhead cam motors don't make enough power around 1500 rpms to efficiently move the SuperDuty's. Like you said, 6th is almost useless on my light weight 250. The ratio of 3.73/4.30 trucks for sale should be reversed of what it is today. If more dealers stocked 4.30's the 6.2 fan base would grow even more. I'm really looking forward to my 4.30's on order.
My truck gets its best hwy mpg with 6th locked out. I've done it for months now.

Mine is not even broken in yet as I only have 1500 miles on it and I am very happy with the mileage I am getting for a big truck. I get at least if not better, the same mileage I was getting in my Tundra.
after having mine, unless I lived in flat country I would not even consider 3.73's.
That is just my opinion but I am extremely happy with my decision to go with the 4.30's on my truck.

Maybe I'm just getting used to how the truck makes its power, or maybe it is "waking up" a little after some miles (about 1400 miles now), but it feels decent now. Better than it did last week.
Towed with it today. Had to go pick up about 1700lbs worth of chemicals. Trailer weighs about 1500lbs. So not a big load, but I honestly could barely even tell it was back there. On hills is when it revved a little more, but on flat ground, it felt the same. I'm loving this truck!

Nice looking truck. I don't know if the 6.2L ever wakes up but I did learn some tricks to make it go. Whenever I'm getting on the motorway I lock out 6th & 5th, when I'm driving in heavy traffic I lock out 6th. Actually 6th is pretty much useless unless & i find myself locking it out in many situations.
