For performance must go with the Autolite copper plugs. Even in some performance articles with new coil on plugs they run copper. Just have to change every 36,000 miles.
Up and running good, test drove Pop's on the back roads and ran great, dash temp gauge stayed right at the middle, gears went in smoothly and did a 2nd to 3rd burn out on the dirt though got rid of all the junk that was on back of the flatbed, I'll give it a good cleaning tomorrow.
These truck have the 8x6.5 wheel bolt pattern? If so the school bus is a Chevy 3500 and has the dually wheels, would the back spacing affect it in anyway?
That, I don't know, But the standard 8 lug chevy wheel the center hub hole is smaller then ford & dodge. That won't fit onto a fords or dodges rear axles.
But ford & dodge will fit onto the chevy axles
Orich
Thanks Orich, does look like its sitting on the bed.
Oh by the way thats the Mule, shes down right know, you can check my build thread on the 94.5-97 diesel section.
Is it my old eyes or is that L/R inner tire a smaller diameter than the outer? FYI, on a dually the tires that are paired up HAVE to be the same size, brand, and series of that brand of tire if you haul heavy weight. They have to be the same O.D. Even a different series of tire from the same manufacturer can be a different O.D. Otherwise you can break wheel studs.
BTW, on a Dually from the factory the L/R wheel studs were LH thread. The other 3 corners were RH thread. But since then someone might have put RH studs in that LR hub.
