Hello everyone!

My name is Nicole and due to some unfortunate circumstances, I have to sell my antique Ford Truck. It was a project my dad and I were working on together, in between work, school, and other obligations, but since his passing last October, I have had to make some tough decisions.

Due to not having enough time, skills, knowledge, or resources, I have decided that it would be better to give my truck to someone who would be able to restore her, instead of having her (once again) sit outside for years and years. I also inherited my dad’s Corvette—which has been fully restored and is running—so I want to give her the attention she deserves too.

Due to the truck’s condition is not the greatest, I am not looking for a lot. The price is completely negotiable and is based upon what I originally paid for it, how much work I put into it, and some other factors. I am looking for about $1,000-$3,000.

However, I will be throwing in the following items, because they will be of more use to you than to me: primer, sandpaper, sanding disks, spare and replacement parts I did not get around to putting on the truck, the owner’s manuals I purchased, and other miscellaneous items.

But regardless of price and everything else, what I am looking for in a buyer is someone who will restore her—someone who is looking for a project, not parts.

CURRENT STATE:

Inner cabin sanded, primed
Various parts bondoed & fiberglassed
Front end dismantled
Slightly rusted, many parts sanded and primed
Some areas more rusted than others
Not expertly restored (I am an amateur at best)
Both driver side windows replaced
Passenger window replaced (but got cracked due to a storm)
Gaskets on doors replaced
Driver door does not close properly (we were working on that)
Bed does not have wooden boards
Tailgate needs to be replaced (very rusted & brittle when first bought)
Gas tank still in good condition
Fenders might need replacing, or welding at some weaker points (but we have sand blasted & primed them to prevent more rust)
V8 engine inoperable/not salvageable due to spark plugs being removed by previous owner
Various dents (mostly hammered out) due to being in goat field for 30 years
