2015 F250 Diesel Transmission Problem
Transmission won't shift out of Park
2015 6.7 4WD 41k
Drove the truck to operating temp ~195° for transmission. Stopped at a long traffic light so I put the transmission in park. Light turned green, but I couldn't get the transmission out of park - had to wait ~30 minutes blocking traffic at the light.
Brake lights all operate. No fuses blown.
"P" in instrument cluster does not illuminate when problem present. When it lights up, there is no problem.
Transmission temp and or time affect the problem. Wait for ~30 minutes or when the transmission temp drops to around 160° all works. But seems that much higher - there's a problem. The transmission is locked in park.
I've read ppg 149 in the OM and it is not a problem where I take the column apart and physically manipulate the safety.
Will send video to Ford in the morning.
Anyone hear of this? Are there any TSB's

Problem Solved
Technician replaced the Transmission Range Sensor Motorcraft p/n: CC3Z-7H557-BFRT and all is well.
When he put the vehicle on the computer the transmission indicated neutral when it was actually in park.
replacing the sensor involved removing the transmission pan which resulted in 10 qts of fluid.
Will try again to put the video up....

That's true. I know there may come a day when I have to buy a new truck, but I will keep my manual as long as I possibly can.
