F450 towing heavy
Has anyone yet done any significant towing with the 2016 f 450. 6.7 close to the maximum weights
Ive been towing a 28000 lb trailer with my 2014 ram 3500 but the electrical gremlins that truck is plagued with has forced me to trade it in at the Ford lot
Of course the salesman and dealers all say it will handle the weight no problem but I'm sure these guys have little experience with tent trailers let alone equipment

You may want to check with Aaron at Trailer Saver. They have the adapters for the PUCK system and I think he can help you out.
Ill be getting the TS3 air hitch and puck adapter for my 2017 F450 -- as soon as it gets here.
Enjoy the road.

I'm towing a 25 foot big Tex 24k flat deck with a backhoe weighing 21500
Trailer weighs 28500 with a hitch weight of 3 to 5000 depending where I place the backhoe
Took it for the first run last night to see how it tows
I'm impressed with the power and engine braking
The brake controller is fantastic
I'm suprised how little weight the rear suspension will hold though
For a 450 one would think you could max it out before it squats but I can only get roughly 3500 lbs on it before it starts to look really overweight
Deffinatly needs some air bags
On a $90+ truck I didn't expect to have to throw more cash at it to be a puller

I'm guessing the springs are being mmade softer to accommodate those that don't use these trucks for the intended purpose
I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed with the payload of this f450
you can see she squats pretty good here with minimal weight on the hitch yet with my ram 3500 it held all the hitch weight I could get
deffinatey a few differences between the two trucks that's for sure
