Looking very nice. Wife looks happy. You know what they say, " Happy wife, Happy life." You we're gonna be beggin for pics when you get it put back together. At least your shop is big enough to spray them all at once. Very cool.

So you married Carol Merrill, I always wondered what happend to that Wisconsin gal after 'Let's Make a Deal'.

It is always a happy day when the project shifts from fixin' to reassembly. You are closer to the end than the beginning.

I was wondering if you were going to comment on the color Jimmy...when I first saw the pics I thought, boy that sure does look like Jimmy's truck! Nice job on the paint...it's a good feeling when all the panels are the same color, shiny helps too!

The color is called shiny penny pearl its a stock color from summit racing line of paint I wouldn't recommend this paint for an all over as its very transparent and took over 3 1/2 gallons of unmixed base coat to cover evenly we reduced it at 50% as recommended by Sherwin Williams the manufacture

I don't know how much experience you have with painting but it is common practice to use a tinted sealer under any metallic/pearl BC these days. House of Kolor KD 3000 series is what I use on all my paint jobs. Could be water under the bridge now but you may have another job coming up...

The person who shot this for me has had his own shop for over 30 years and never seen this happen before once we started it was to late for the tinted sealer just had to keep moving forward
