Cranks all the time
So I've replaced the sol, twice but when I get in and turn the key to "run" it turns over, but when I turn the key to start, it quits. Never had a problem with it until I jumped it, it now has a new battery, sol and ign tumbler. Do I replace the ignition module or have the starter rebuilt?
I am in the process of restoring it, so not a daily driver yet.

Hello!
AND
W E L C O M E !!!!
also Thanks for puttin yer confidence in us for help. I may not B that 1 as I'm only familiar w/my own rig. I DO have a suggestion, tho - till the more experienced come along. (it wrks 4 me anyway). And that is:
stop replacing things w/o a diagnosis 1st. You are making so many changes it can obscure the real cause. (again, possibly more important 4 me, $) You may B spending for parts that aren't needed, as well. Try one thing and test again.
Do you have a "test light"? I would start at one end and probe to find out where the problem is located. These old vehicles have bad grounds from age. Wires R freyed too. The keyed switch seems like a good place to look for continuity, also make sure U attached the wires U just placed on it in the right place. Was it working correctly B 4? If so go back there, where U last wrked and check what you've done, science tells us that's probably where the problem is. U continue to change things w/o firm data makes more confusion for this step.
Good Luck, keep talkin…

Well, figured it out. I didn't mention that it had all new wiring harness, new starter and sol. So the only thing left was the ignition switch...and bingo, we have a winner! Installed new switch and it works fine. Thanks chrisful for the info. I guess a blind dog gets lucky and finds a bone every once in awhile.

she starts AND stops !!!
Congrats on yer success!
Well, I must B the 'blind dog' cuz ele.s is my weak point.
BUT,
"science" is not.
If I start at where I left off
/OR/
beginning @ the beginning
It usually wrks out. (& so that's how I proceed w/what I don't know/understand - ele. puzzles).
Glad these ol bronks R limited in amount & complications in their ele. systems!
What's next on yer project?
I'm at a driveline swap after 33 yrs of 3.03/170.
