Adding Power Windows to an XL

Adding Power Windows to an XL
I recently purchased a 2004 F-250 XL regular cab and have spent most of my free time thus far cleaning up the hackjob addons from previous owners. As the truck has manual windows, I went to the junkyard and bought power window regulators to convert the truck to power windows. However, I want to do it slightly differently than OEM.
I have removed the cupholder tray from the dash (truck has a center console with cupholders) and am going to make a switch panel for windows and door locks.
In the fuse box under the steering wheel, I see circuit breakers and fuses for power windows. How might I tie these in to my custom harness? The switches I am using are from a Land Rover Discovery II and are rockers (I'm guessing with 5 contacts), but I am mainly concerned with how to wire the circuit breaker in so that holding the button down doesn't fry the window motor at either stop. I also do not need/care for the driver side auto-down feature, so no need for a special module to use that.
I'm guessing that the circuit breaker can be wired inline either on the positive or negative side of the circuit in order to work?
Thanks for your help!
Doug

you are talking about custom work.. you need to learn major electrical ....
this can not be done over the internet... or in a day or 2.
just get the correct parts and wiring from donor truck.. all Ford parts... bolt and plug in.
and using a circuit breaker to stop the window motor.. it JUST NOT RIGHT. use automatic stop circuit... again.. use Donor truck parts.. look at junk (salvage) yard.
should be many in your trucks year range.
there are companies that sell universal power window kits... easier then custom work
retired auto mechanic, 43 years. and Yes, I did custom wire work. and wired new police cars... lots of them. they do not come ready for radios, lights. gun rack...
