6 lug dually rims

I picked up a rear axle out of a 59 f350. It had blasted and repainted rims on it. They are the tube type rims, but the lock ring is totally solid, it slip fits over the rim. Are these legal to mount tires on still. Hopefully Stu chimes in on this one

while split rims are legal for on road use, you will most likely not find anyone willing to mount a tire on one.

Yeah, haven't checked in here in a while. The RHP style like was supplied on the DRW F-350s are not the really bad widow makers. They are the RH-5° style. As said, some shops won't do the RHPs anymore either but most real big truck shops still will around here anyway. Stu
