Evening Perry. We are still under a severe thunderstorm watch here.

 

Good day Shaun, we've been expecting this all day, but this one feels loaded. Not much rain yet but the winds are shifting around and they are warm one minute, cold the next minute. Smells like trouble for someone

 

We have had several bad storms come through already today. Few houses in the area hit by lightning and one person had to be rescued from their car because they tried to go through an area of a road that floods in really bad rain. Even had one person get a nasty shock from the storm today as well. Lightning hit the tree right next to the house and arced into the house and shocked them a bit.

 

It's been 4 days without rain here and supposed to continue throughout the weekend, Monday should see some rain they say..

 

Been lucky so far around here, no sirens, think maybe we're getting the edge of it and the front is still going south. We are getting lots of noise, but thats it, rains for 10 minutes and stops for half an hour.

It`s very hot and humid here, we`re watching the skies for storm clouds tonight. I`m putting all my vehicles under cover in case of hail.

25°C here but very muggy after an over night shower and the wind is dead calm.

Survived the alley heat wave and got my post holes dug and posts in. Was shady in front so the lawns got mowed. Next up is to take a walk to Gienow to see if they have any old 10' skids so that I can salvage some lumber, dont feel like spending $ on a fence thats only going to be used for a year, might get some free panel boards again on this tour.

 

Hello Perry, I have some 3 " pipe for fence posts I salvaged from the dump, one of these days more likely sometime next year I'll weld up the rest of the fence..
