Great Pics Donna.
Vici was transferred to Acute Care this morning. The next step is home. As long as she continues to get better as she has the goal of the end of next week is on track for her to come home. She is determined to start work on the 16th of Aug. Her positive attitude is over half the battle I'm so grateful she is up beat & determined to get home & to work.

Trying to stay indoors from all this heat. Going to be 110 tomorrow according to the weather guessers.

Craig- You're welcome. I'm glad to hear about Vici. She's a strong woman & with her positive attitude, she'll be home in no time. Please tell her & Tommy we said hello.

I'm going with Cammy to her baby dr. appt. in Reno. She's due Aug. 19th, but we'll see what the dr. says this morning.

Morning everyone.

Nothing going on here other than staying inside out of the heat.

 

Wish I could stay out of the heat, but I have to go to my second favorite place today. (NOT!) The social security office. (First favorite place is the DMV...NOT!) To get proof of benefits in order to keep my food stamp benefit. Supposed to be 108 or 110 today depending on which weather guessers you believe.

Evening Everyone.
Donna, I gave Tommy a pet or two for you both.
Went to see Vici today. It was 106 here yesterday & 102 today here in Hawthorne. A couple more days & suppose to be back in the 90s. So I understand the heat. How I survived Bullhead City, AZ summers is beyond me.
My brother is coming up from Hanford to spend a couple of days with me. I'm really looking forward to that.

Hot here today. We got a few minutes of rain a fairly good rain but with the temps in the 106 area 5 minutes after there was no sign of it ever raining.
We got great news today. I hope this is the start of good news. Vici's boss contacted her today to tell her to not worry they would do whatever they could to accommodate her until she was back on track. So that was a big weight lifted off of both of us.
So now is getting her home so far everything is on track for the end of next week.
So please keep her in thoughts & prayers.
