Traveling for the Fourth. Mixed feelings over that, but sometimes you gotta' expend effort to relax. The cat/house sitter is in residence & the neighbors are armed.

Happy birthday to our country & be glad you're here rather than somewhere else regardless of all the stuff people bitch daily about.

Have a cool drink. Reflect. Watch some fireworks if able.

Gator graced us with his presence and poof, he was gone again lol.

That engine looks good. What kind of paint did you put on that thing?
You know, if that truck is going to be ready for cruising the coast, you are going to have to kick it in high gear and get this thing together.

On a different note, I am now the proud owner on my wife's old F250. She did not give it up willingly. I got her an excursion because she wanted something more kid friendly. Got it really cheap with decent miles and it runs like a champ. Not to keen on the rims but Itll do for now. *pic below

I want an Excursion real bad & need one like a boar hog needs ****. Can't afford or keep what I gots right now up to standard. But Terri & I want to go back to Big Bend TX and an Ex would be just the ticket for desert trucking in the national & state parks. Cause we can carry a whole bunch of crap on vacay let me tell you.

Yeah I'm glad he stopped by.

The paint is VHT high heat engine enamel "New Ford Gray". I used the ceramic header paint on my JBAs & wish like hell I had done it from new. I've got some other stuff that has "Cast Aluminum" which looks great. Look at my albums for more if you can find them. Hope its running and reliable soon.
