Good morning woodchucks and junior. Very warm wedding last night - 95 degrees outside and who knows what inside the lodge. No AC so it had been baking all day. Nice event but I'm ready for cooler weather.
Today is Scarlett's birthday party at our house - 5 year olds everywhere - daughter has invited 20+ people to our house. Just love a quiet weekend.
Pug adoption this morning at 10, kids arrive at 11-2.
Tomorrow a board meeting.
Monday a trip to NH (and we are babysitting Erin's 1.5 year old for 2 days on top of the rest of it.
Just love quiet weekends.

Thats good Jim. I am tucked into the office and enjoying the A/C right now. Not looking forward to the end of the day though. Will have to go out into the oven.

Finally - I think nap time has arrived. All the screaming little monsters have left with their parents and we are down to just Lazarus, our 1.5 year old grandson. I think I counted 9 kids under 5 along with a variety of parents. Hot dogs, hamburgers, cake and other assorted junk food now devoured by ravenous kids and parents. The house is quiet, at least for a few minutes. I am ready for a nap.
A bit of a breeze here too Jim but hot in the sun. Clouding over now and jsut got some T-storm alerts but looks to like it will miss us (again). We really need a good soaking rain.
