Valve seals still smoking

So, I replaced all my valve seals (due to passenger side smoking quite a bit) and... Its STILL smoking just as much as before, if not possibly more, which really confuses me. Would this be due to valve seats/guides? It doesn't smoke much initially but after warming up it smokes more. Both of the oil drain holes in the head are free and clear of gunk so I know oil is leaving the head. It seems to smoke more with higher rpm.

I assume you mean the umbrella seals were replaced.

It's prolly the valve guides that are bad.

Well, all the seals do is prevent oil from getting on the valve stems.

Sounds to me the excess wear, the guides or the stems, is allowing oil to be sucked into the combustion chamber on the down stroke.

I think valve seals when it smokes a little when first started. I think rings and cyls if it smokes when hot.

I didn't realize that was all the valve seals were good for. I was hoping to not have to pull my heads again, but I guess I have some machining in my future. Was really hoping to not have to fork out the dough for head rebuilds but I don't think that's really a diy type of deal.
