Morning Shaun, Ken...
Finally got a phone call. He was more worried if he'd done something personally to tick me off. The ticking off started about a year and a half ago, he just carried out when he took over last month. He asked if there was another position in the company I'd rather have... too late for that bubba.

My old boss told me they had been trying to get me xfer'd back into that group... but the current director I'm under wouldn't budge. They seemed to enjoy just keeping me as a square peg in a round hole, and beating me down a little more each day.

Girls are pretty excited. The 14 yr old may be joining me as the high school down there has so much more to offer. Oldest is a little bummed she didn't have some of those opportunities, but she is content to stay here with mom and finish her senior year.

Glad to hear the youngest is looking forward to the move Rob. I can understand the oldest not wanting to go since she is in her senior year.

Good to be in demand...specialized skill sets never hurt.

One more year. I really tried to stick it out, but there just was no way to keep going in my current job. The oldest and her mom get along pretty well for the most part thankfully.

That's good...amazing how fast they grow up. It seems like just yesterday my youngest great nephew was born...and...now he's 6 weeks old.

I'm somewhat specialized in my tech skills... and nobody teaches a lot of the stuff I know any more. Lots of places are in need of that skill right now, so they may have a tough time finding someone once I'm gone. Not my worry though.
