Do you have a standalone boost gauge? Tunes manipulate the stock sensors. I'm not saying this is your issue, just that the info is inaccurate.

You need a separate boost gauge to get "real" boost levels. Tunes change the levels to affect performance.

I will put that on my list. But, I am still slower, getting less mileage, and running higher egt's

I kinda like KC turbo's myself. I have a friend that just modded his truck with it and has had zero issues. You may have to call the selling vendor and see whats up. Like Anthony says, He's not a fan of 03 PM

Since you said the issues came after the Powermax, I assume no other values have changed? Are all the values within spec? EBP, ICP and so on? If nothing else has changed, I would contact your vendor.

If you find someone that gives a darn about an issue like this (being an online retailer),, let me know,, because I will start buying from them. But we have personally seen how certain places handle this exact issue. And NOBODY stepped up to make it right. Everyone wants to blame everything else. "It CAN'T be the turbo", is what we have heard. Our policy now is,, if you buy a turbo online,, just count on it being your baby.

I ranted above,, but do let us know if whoever you bought this from cares. I've seen how one place out west ,, that you ALL know and praise,, basically gave the finger on an issue like this.

My friend's 6.0 is staying together running 100 psi and making 1100hp on fuel only

I am also seeing lower boost on my pmax than stock turbo. 24 max vs 32. But My 24 feels more like 34 though. So far about the same egts as stock. Just running 8k tune now. Hope u are able to return turbo.

What about air flow in cubic feet... is it flowing more air at less pressure? If that is the case, then it's making more power.

Does GearHead change parameters of his tunes if someone has a PowerMax turbo? It should be supplying more air, so does it need more fuel?
