I stirred up some wood bees yesterday and managed to get stung in a few places on my arm. It stung but I didn't think much more about it. This morning, my arm and hand have spots that are swollen and itching like mad.

Afternoon Everybody!

Tiff and I went yard saling this morning. I got an LED work light for the big trailer so I can see what I'm doing loading / unloading it in the dark. I also found another 600 for parts/rebuild, an air coupler for the trailer glad hand so I can plug an air hose in to Mongo. Not a bad haul, really.

I'm getting ready to head out to my secret junk yard down here and hopefully pick up a few things. Then I'll be done until tomorrow morning. Too stinkin' hot out there to work much in the afternoon.

I got a nice tailgate for a dent and did some recon work for bumps. He has some nice stuff for bumps, RC. You need to come and check it out. The only problem with the yard is everything is overgrown. Let me paint you a picture, .....he officially shut they yard down in the mid-'80s. A guy recently bought a car out of his storage building out by the road. It took three weeks of moving cars around to get it out. .....and it was 100 yards from the road. The only way to get a car out from the back 40 would be with a helicopter. BUT, there's some really cool old iron in there. You just have to know him to get in. He's a little "untrusting".

Well the moving days continued, RC and his wonder flat bump, hard at it again. Ol Big Red seems to be pretty dang heavy... not sure why, but Alan and I had a crazy time with him too. Here are some pics!!

Here's what I was up to today. I got the engine back in to check clearances. The hood brace is close, but it'll work. I also got the brackets and hardware painted. Humidity is killing me, but it's still coming together. This should be the last mock up before final body work and paint.

I also corrected the frame stand angle and it turned out just about perfect.

Jeff, Bandit had some help, but it was technically used as a truck.

Nice work as always Alan!! And I knew someone would say that about Bandit lol. It does feel good to have Ol Big Red inside for the first time as long as I've owned him.

Plenty of room!!
