sounds good alan.. i will try to be at your place about that time then..
i took off early again today.. had a rough morning.. i could not get the flat-bump with the trailer out of the back door of the shop.. it would of taken several hours to move things around enough to have room to get it out... i guess i dont have a pull thru shop anymore..
i had to drag bullet out of the shop 5-10' at a time..i still haven't figured how to drive the pulling truck and steer the pulled truck at the same time.... but finally got it all worked out.. pulled bullet out and down the driveway a bit. then backed the flat bump back into the shop and backed thru the shop, then down the driveway.. trying to miss bullet with the trailer as i did.. then used the S10 to pull bullet back into the shop then drag the bronco to the hill so i could roll it in behind bullet..
jeff i started working on getting the engine started.. i started working to get the engine wired enough to start.. the power steering pump will either have to be hooked up or make a bypass hose to circulate the fluid.. the pump has to be there because it is what drives the water pump.. i will fill the transmission with fluid, then i will need to see about getting some kind of trans linkage working so i can run it thru the gears after it starts..

I guess it is good morning all!!! RC, I think my plans changed in your favor??? Moved most of my stuff late Thursday , and think we could do Saturday on my vehicles if you are still good to go. Sunday will work too, but I am free on Saturday now. Your choice if you are still able. I would appreciate it.
Holy diddly I am tired, now time to get some shut eye....

Rant of my week....
If my Craigslist ad says there is no carb and I have a head gasket leaking out the side of the block, don't ask me if it will make it to Kansas City....#2 don't ask me if it runs right now..hello I robbed the carb for another vehicle like my ad says... holy diddly I can't believe people...

I really, really hate yard equipment. Got the mower all hooked up to the Rhino, drug out into the yard, fired up, blades engaged, and... the Rhino quits. I'm so stinking tired of crap not running when I need it to.
Update - Fortunately it just took some doing to get the carburetor primed again. It's running again and the mower is freaking awesome. The biggest section of the yard only took 20 minutes instead of several hours with push mowers.

Evening All!
Had a good time at RS. I got a slider back window for High Roller, then RC got the faded red Bronco running again. And me? I piddled with Rich's blue truck for a while and exploited a weakness that ended with Rich needing to buy another starter. (which I'm fairly certain was at least half of the strange starting problem.)
Good to see you again, Rich. Next time you have a free hour or two swing by the shop so we can give you and Penny a lap around the shop in Earthquake. ...and be sure to bring your Grandson.

sounds like you did good dave.. if you get bored i have some grass that i would not charge ya too much to have fun in..
well it was a long day for sure .. i just hope we did some good.. it was a little warm out there today.... so walking around the junk yard was not all that pleasant. to make it worse i did not even find any parts i really needed .. i just hope it was not a wasted day maybe we did do some good up at rich's...
and then somehow i broke down and bought another ford truck.... i think i should
have enough to last me awhile now..
