Morning all.

Rich - Staying cool is the plan for the day. Going to try taking the kids to Fugitive Beach outside of Rolla this afternoon. It's an old quarry that's been flooded and sand trucked in to form beaches. Sounds like a great way to cool off in the heat.

Afternoon All!

We went to see our friend's band play last night. I have to get Tiff's new rear bumper on her truck and then get some swirl marks out of the driver's side.

good afternoon all.... i got my newest addition to the stable home... it wasnt a 302 like i thought it was..it is a 351 windsor.. and just by luck i happen to have 2 of those laying in my shop already.... so i will not have to pull the engine out of my other bronco.. i think on that one i will just covert it to standard since i already have the trans. then just make it into a hunting buggy..

dont know why the door is so shiny and the rest of the truck is so faded..thought it was a different door but it has the same paint and pin-striping on it... it has what looks to be a 4" suspension lift kit under it, looks to of been a professional installation job using really good parts

it does have a few rust issues but other than that not bad looking at all.. they kept the new tires (wanted 800.00 for them) so i had to put these old 'roller' tires on it

the interior is real nice for a old bronco

the carpet in the rear dont look like anyone has ever tossed a greasy old engine or trans back there

it had 35" tires on it .. the spare looks old but is still holding air

does anyone know if the early 351 windsor heads will work on the EFI engines??

They should fit as there weren't any changes to the block when they went EFI. The only thing I'd worry about is if it has a roller cam, but that was only the last couple of years of production for the 5.8l.

I wouldn't plan on the older heads working. The door is probably shiny because it was repaired at some point and they used base/clear instead of single stage when they repainted that panel.

Alan and RC please remember this Friday noon ish my place. Hopefully we can see what is up with ol blues elec issue and the red Bronco's carb and maybe a temp gauge issue on the buggy??

More reminders will be given later on in the week. Alan I am looking for your favorite screwdriver.

If something comes up and you can't make it I understand, just call my cell and I will stay at work.

Good Morning Everybody!

Rich. That's still the plan for the week. Friday afternoon is yours.

I need to get the metal and mud work done on the cab and front clip this week because Jeff wants to come down and wire the truck the early part of next week. I don't think I'm very far away from that, but I want the paint to be a couple days old when he gets here.

Alan and RC I understand you guys are busy too, so I really appreciate the help. I am just so overwhelmed with everything at times.

Morning folks.

a long hot day out there today..... i spent the day pulling the straight axle, engine, trans, and differential out from under a 41 chevy truck.. then when i was finished with that i cleaned and moved things around the shop getting it ready to do some ford work... i need to pull 2 engines (84 f250 and 89 bronco) and get then on engine stands.. then decide which way to go with the repairs after i see inside em..
