Good Saturday Morning Everybody!

RC. Bob has already been through the area and is back up to Kansas City. He did stop in for a few minutes, but he had a lot of people to visit and didn't stay long. It was still good to catch up and see him again.

I'll be around the shop today. I didn't get anything done yesterday but I DID get a new toy for Earthquake. I'll be working on that in between blocking and primering your tailgate. The outside of the gate is almost ready for paint but I still have to sand and primer the inside of it, then I can shoot some red on it.

Hey RC. Change of plans. I'm gonna head out for a few hours today, so I probably won't be around much.

I'm working on a trade deal. It may be just what I was looking for.

thats cool alan.. i hope it all works out on the positive side for ya .. i most likely should not of come up today anyway..the 'new' wiper arms i bought were made so cheap that when i turned the wipers on the plastic clip holding the blade onto the arm broke..so i now have NO wipers at all.. and can not drive in the rain until i replace them again!!!!! just another case of the chinese claim that the "parts meet or exceed OEM specifications" ......if it wasnt for bad luck i would have no luck at all..

Afternoon guys. The wife and I have decided that if we were going to fill the void that Fred left, we need to do it pretty soon so the new arrival can be acclimated before school starts again and that it had to be at least part Kelpie. Although it isn't a common breed in this neck of the woods, we did find this fellow in a shelter's foster program up in KC:

We're working on setting up a time that we can go meet him on Monday and hopefully bring him home.

Evening All!

RC, do you think you or Ray could pull a trailer up to the shop for me? I have to drive the little hauler and trailer to Theodosia, then have to get a 40' pintle hitch trailer back to the shop. Since I'm trading the hauler AND the trailer, I won't have anything to pull the trailer back with.

Just some guy that answered my ad. He told me his name, but I forgot it.

I have to get to the shop here in a few minutes. I got a good friend of my oldest daughter coming by to get his oil changed. He's a really good kid and just beat cancer, so I don't mind helping him out. He's only 20 years old and already dealt with so much. Now that he's healthy again, he can start his life. It was a 2 year hold on everything just trying to stay alive.

RC. Yeah, he's a good kid. Always was. We got him fixed up today. Did an oil change, trans service and filled all his fluids. (p/s was EMPTY) He commented how nice it steered now. *facepalm* Yeah, the hydraulic pump usually works better with fluid in it!

We are around just busy with road trips taking my mom to the doc apt again...and going to stay with the grandson for a overnight.

We are home and staying afloat. Cant wait to see the roads tomorrow.

RC or Alan any chance either of you could come up and give me a helping hand on fri (afternoon) on the 22nd or sat the 23rd?

I could really use some help with the blue truck since I have a new elec issue...and the fresh "carb job" on the red Bronco has got me stumped.

Rich. Yep, we'll both come up. Like RC said, just remind me a day or two earlier, because there's no way I'll remember that.

Happy Fourth Everyone!

I have to go to work today. I hope to actually lay some color down on RC's tailgate. I just have to primer the back side first. I got the outside of it looking half decent.

One of my oldest friends is coming in today for a visit. I have pictures of us as toddlers playing with his electric trains at Christmas. ....we've known each other for a minute. I'm really excited to see him and catch up. It's been about 15 years since we saw each other face to face.
