Scarce as Nose Hair on Scarlett Johansson
Checked Autotrader.com, cars.com and KBB.com to try and find low-mileage V10 passenger E-350s for sale.
There's nothing out there with less than 100,000 miles. Seriously. Nothing.
I'm thinking that factory tow-pckg V10 passenger E-350s with less than 50,000 miles are the new unicorns.
And I have one.

True.
But the good news as you already know the V10 platform well maintained can run well towards 300K miles and still be relatively reliable.

These guys always have one or two, but they're not shy about asking what they want in price...

The coolest one I ever saw for sale was in Mississippi, V-10 XLT, but had the Chateau 2-tone paint, 15-passenger, and I thought it was quad seating first row. Factory tow package, and a nicely done dual rear wheel conversion. I sweated over that one, as it was the identical color pattern to mine, but decided to pass.

side story...
I factory ordered a 2003 (I think) E-350 Traveler with quad captain's chairs, factory tow and the 7.3L powerstroke diesel. I also had the ceiling video screens with floor-mounted VHS video player. I had it about 90 days before the paint on the roof started bubbling and flaking off in huge patches.
I asked for my money back, but the Ford Dealer insisted they re-paint it -- and FoMoCo's customer service advocate agreed. So I relented.
They blasted the roof clean, repainted it and called me to come pick it up a week later. When I got in the truck, I knew something was wrong. It reeked of paint lacquer and I saw paint dust *everywhere* and in every crack. I saw the dried smears of a shop towel on every surface as evidence of a shop worker trying to mop up the particulate.
Apparently they didn't mask off the air intake vents -- or they left the windows down (or both) -- when they blasted the paint off and repainted. And the whole inside got filled with particulate dust. Even the VHS player was filled with it.
I called Ford HQ and lodged a complaint. And then I developed a respiratory infection within a week.
I was offered and accepted Ford arbitration and won. Got every dime back and an apology.
Funny thing was, a few weeks later the dealer calls me and tells me my truck was up for auction. He offered to buy it and flip it back to me for $500 over cost. I declined.
Seeing as how these diesel trucks are worth so much now, I wish I hadn't refused!
