New car- tough to drive the dirty old truck now

After 8 years of driving a waste vegetable oil 7.3, i took the money I saved in diesel costs and bought a new car. It's tough to bring myself to drive the old blue grease truck now! And on top of everything...it's a Chevy!

Introducing The Bad Bitch

The waste vegetable oil is still rolling in though so I need to be driving my truck

We just bought April a 2015 Impala 2lt . Very nice car. After riding in it my truck is like riding a front end loader.

They did a really nice job with the front end of that car for the newer models.

Yes the new fronts look mean!

My wife is always reaching for hand holds, like in the truck, when I go around corners at speed. I have to tell her she doesn't need to hold on! It grips the road, it doesn't float like the truck does.

That Camero is sweet. Love the color.

And it looks like you have a cop neighbor so it should be safe.

Thanks!

Yes the Sheriff's deputy across the street has cut down on the number of times my wife's Jeep gets rummaged through.

It's just the V6, not many options. It was really affordable. I did get the Rally Sport package. That has 20" wheels, rear spoiler, etc. When my kids graduate college, I'm getting the V8!

Couple of days ago, a woman in a 2SS pulled up next to me, rumbled that big V8 and then dusted me!

Yeah JUST the v6 that ONLY has 335hp. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's about 40 more than a 68SS 350 Camero.

Is it a six speed manual?

May not be modern Camero fast but it could give a vintage super car a run for its money.

Beautiful ride. I am enjoying the retro styling of the muscle cars, Detroit finally figured out how to get us to want to part with our money.

I took a different tack - I poured my money into making the ride in the truck nicer. Stinky corners like a sports car, and rides about as smooth as the Jeep.

Haha yes it will still flat go! It's just when I read the manual and I read all the technology that the 2SS has, it is just incredible. I read about a really cool feature in the manual, then I run out to the car to see if I have that feature and it's like the game show loser slide trombone sound

WAH WAAAAAH!

I still love it, and it was what I could afford so I am grateful!

It's an automatic but it can be shifted like a manual through paddle shifters or with the gear shifter. So you can get those 7000 rpm burn outs!
