Broken therostat housing bolts

Get a large washer like a fender washer and have the hole the same diameter as the bolt. Weld that sucker on (MIG is fine, no reason for TIG), then weld a large nut on the washer (reason for fender washer). When that cools give a turn, slowly back and forth. This trick works almost every time. I can't remember last time we tried using EZ out.
If you can get the broken bolts out, I recommend using studs. Even if you have to cut the threads off of bolts, those stupid bolts on that housing are a pain. Thread studs into the water pump with a little JB, and let it set up. Then use nuts and lock washers on top, and never worry about bolts sticking in there again.
