1996 Ford F150 steering problem

On a "96 Ford F150 pickup, 4.9 with auto, 2 wheel dr, with 86,000 mi. the truck pulls to the left when traveling on open road. It's been to two different alignment shops and a few bushings replaced here & there, tires rotated and the alignment done three different times. Continues to pull to the left, and at times will pull to the right since the alignments have been done. The shops have given up! Any ideas out there? Any known problems from Ford? Help!!

Could be ball joints, mounting bushings or both. I thought I had pulling problem after an alignment, found out they overinflated front tires and on top of that, unevenly! Lowered pressure to 35 psi in each and pulling and drifting went away.

96 XLT F-150 IL6 300 cid 5 speed 97,000 miles.
