I took my truck (69 F250) to a show last week and was approached by the little old lady who told me how she was restoring a 95 F150 xlt 4wd 5.0.

The plastic plug on the throttle body sounds to have disintegrated.

The part number of the TB is F4TZ9E926B.

As I'm quite sure everyone on here knows the TB is discontinued.

Is there a newer retro-fitted something that can solve her problem or is it just a case of waiting for a new old stock one to pop up?

What plastic plug? I don't recall there being anything plastic on these. The junkyard is a viable option for parts most times if the part in question is out of production, and you can buy aftermarket throttlebodies too but they are a total waste of money on a stock motor.
