BF Good KO2's or Cooper AT-3

Trying to decide between these tires. Size will be 275-70-18s. I can't see spending 1200$ without getting some feedback.
Both have great reviews I had a buddy that had the coopers and they were pretty loud.

Thanks ahead of time.

i have not had any luck with BFG tires the past 10 years or so. the cooper AT3's are the best tires i have ever used. super quiet, and wear real good. we get at least 50,000 miles out of them on the F-350's loaded to the gills.
i don't know what your buddy had that made them loud, the ones on my 02 are quieter than the firestone transforce tires i took off it.

I liked my AT3. They did great in the snow too. I run logging roads and never had a flat. I know my friends had several flats with his bfgs on same roads. I'm a American made cooper fan.

For all around tires, AT3 might be better. If you need tires with great sidewall strength, go with KO2.

Has anyone noticed a difference in fuel mileage between the two? I'm probably looking to replace my TA/KO's with TA/KO-2's because the former have been discontinued. I noticed when I put the TA/KO's on my fuel mileage went down some. Did you end up with the coopers? If so how did you like them? If I have to do a set of 4 tires because I can no longer purchase two TA/KO's I might as well investigate a different brand. Sorry for the hi-jack

my truck gets 10 mph loaded, empty, driving like granny, or driving like mario andretti.
unless i am plowing snow. then it gets 3-4 mpg.
i did not notice any difference in mileage between the coopers, firestones, or the cheap dynasty tire that were on it when i bought it.
